Favorite Quote: anything by Dorothy Parker or the Dalai Lama

Living on the fourth generation family farm from which she escaped in 1974 at the tender age of 17, Nancy publishes South x Southeast Photomagazine, directs South x Southeast photoworkshops, and is the gallerist for South x Southeast photogallery online. In her spare time she herds four rescue dogs of disparate personalities, and 6 feral mouser cats with attitudes. Her addiction is farm renovation and repair, which she does at a seemingly endless rate these days, and not always well. When she does have a moment of peace she enjoys the porch on her office where she entertains guests and good gossip. Her career has spanned being co-director of SlowExposures Photography Festival from 2003- 2011, producing magazines from fine art to tattoo, managing restaurant supply houses, being the first female insurance agent for Liberty Mutual, and includes saying ‘enough to all of that’ and going back to tending bar in her 30’s. She has been published in books, magazines, and the internet. Her dearest love is photography.
